St. Potamion (Potamon)

I was bishop of Heraclea in Upper Kemet. Martyred under Maximinus Daza, whose authority they gouged me of one eye, lamed me, and banished me to the mines.
Constantine freed me. I attended the Council of Nice, 325 A.D.. I defended Athanasius at Tyre in 33 A.D. banished with him. I was martyred by Arians, 340 A.D. 18 May.
