St. Possessor

Bishop of Verdun, France. A one time city official, Possessor took holy orders and was eventually chosen bishop in 470. He dedicated himself to assisting his clergy and flock through the dark years of Germanic invasions and domination after the fall of the Western Roman Empire in 476.
