St. Odo of Urgell

Spanish bishop. A member of the family of the counts of Barcelona, Spain, he became a soldier but gave this up to enter die religious life. Named archdeacon of Urgell in the Pyrenees and ordained by Pope Urban II, he was appointed bishop of Urgell, and was celebrated for his concern for the poor.
