St. Balin

Death: 7th century

Confessor and disciple of St. Colman of Lindisfarne. Balin was the brother of St. Gerald. Balm was the son of an Anglo-Saxon king. He acconipanied St. Colman to lona, in Scotland, and then took up residence in Connaught, Ireland.
