St. Innocent

Innocent
Innocent was bishop of Merida, Spain, described as a man of exceptional humility, gentleness, and simplicity. On several occasions during his lifetime, when the fields near Merida were parched from a lack of rain, Innocent assembled the faithful in various shrines of the saints and offered prayers together with the people for an end to the drought. Each time, their prayers were answered with a bounty of heavy rain.
