St. Theodore

Feastday: March 26
Death: 3rd century

Martyr with Irenacus, Serapion, and Ammonius who suffered during the persecutions of Emperor Gallienus, also known as Theuderius. Theodore was bishop of Pentapolis, Libya. lrenaeus was his deacon, and Serapion and Ammonius, two lectors. They all had their tongues cut out but survived the ordeal, dying in peace during the lapse in persecutions.
