The exhibition "The Royal Family: Love and Mercy" continues its work at the Higher School of Economics.
This time the exposition will be located in the building of the Faculty of Humanities.
The grand opening will take place on Thursday, April 11 at 15:00 at 21/4c1, Staraya Basmannaya Street.
Participants of the opening ceremony will be treated to a performance by the choir of the Sretensky Theological Academy and a tour by one of the curators of the project, guide Michael Googe.
The exhibition "The Royal Family: Love and Mercy" presents more than 200 historical photographs depicting the life and ministry of the family of Nicholas II. These photographic materials are an important testimony of an entire epoch in the life of Russia.
Thematically, the exhibition is divided into three blocks:
- Love and Family: the love story of Nicholas II and Alexandra Feodorovna, vivid and sensual moments of the royal family's life, and warm relationships with their children.
- Nicholas II's public service: the patriotic duty of the last Russian emperor, active reforms and strengthening of the people's welfare.
- Works of mercy: charitable and patronage activities of the royal family, helping neighbors and self-sacrifice.
Earlier, the grand opening of the photo exhibition was held on March 12 with a large crowd of visitors in the building of the Cultural Center of the National Research University Higher School of Economics on Pokrovsky Boulevard, where it was open for a week.
