On January 26, 2024 in Moscow, a round table will be held on the problems and topical issues that Old Believer parishes of the Russian Orthodox Church face in their activities. The venue will be the Patriarchal Center of Old Russian liturgical tradition at the Pokrovsky Church in Rubtsov. The event will be held within the framework of two thematic areas of the XXXII International Christmas Educational Readings - "Tradition. Dialogue. External Relations" and "The Life of the Church and the Holy Father's Heritage". Archbishop Stefan of Gomel and Zhlobin will head the round table. The curator is the Secretary of the Moscow Patriarchate Commission for Old Believer parishes and for interaction with Old Believers, head of the Patriarchal Center for Old Russian liturgical tradition Archpriest John Mirolyubov. The participants of the meeting will discuss topical issues of the development of monastic parishes in the Russian Orthodox Church, including the coordination of publishing activities and the organization of pilgrimages. The event is organized by the Patriarchal Center for the Old Russian Liturgical Tradition. Time of the event: 12.00-14.00. The round table is held for representatives of the monotheistic (Old Believer) communities of the Russian Orthodox Church; the presence of other participants is not planned.
