The congress gathered participants from various regions of Russia, including Moscow, Kaliningrad, Yaroslavl and Rostov regions, as well as the conflict zone. The participants discussed current issues of hospital and volunteer ministries, palliative care, nursing care, and assistance to victims of the conflict zone and the wounded. Director and chief physician Central Clinical Hospital of St. Alexis, Metropolitan of Moscow, Alexei Zarov shared his experience in developing mercy sororities through training in professional programs to care for the seriously ill.
