A press conference dedicated to the All-Russian Family Parade on the Day of Family, Love and Fidelity was held at the TASS press center on July 3, 2024. The parade will be held on July 8. Representatives of more than a hundred cities will take part in it.
«Recently our organizing committee has been working almost round the clock. More than 100 cities have already confirmed their participation in the Family Parade, but every day we receive new applications from other cities and regions. New regions are very eager to host the Family Parade, but now it is dangerous, so mass processions are not held there, but in the regions they organize other events dedicated to the Day of Family, Love and Fidelity» — said during a press conference coordinator of the organizing committee of the All-Russian Family Parade Andrei Vasiliev.

The All-Russian Family Parade takes place within the framework of the Year of the Family announced by the President of the country and is dedicated to the state holiday — Day of Family, Love and Fidelity, timed to the day of memory (July 8) of Blessed Prince Peter and Princess Fevronia of Murom, who are considered the patrons of family and marriage. On June 28, 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree making this day a public holiday.
The All-Russian Family Parade is primarily aimed at strengthening the institution of family and support for parents with many children.
«Each Family Parade will begin with a prayer service to Peter and Fevronia of Murom. In each region, a section has been determined, along which the families will march. It will end with a stage performance for the families. When you see a large number of people whose goal — life in each other, it helps through their example to bring this image into your home. In 2024, the participants of the large-scale march will be parents together with their children, grandparents — several generations of different families who stand for traditional family values.

In the program of the All-Russian Family Parade — performances of animators, holiday concerts and honoring large families. At the interactive sites guests will be able to join traditional Russian dances and songs, enjoy tea from samovar, participate in sports games, relay races, as well as attend drawing master classes.

- 17.30 — gathering of participants (Place of gathering — VDNKh, North loop); work of animators;
- 18.30 — Family Parade (festive family procession through the park VDNKh);
- 19.00-19.40 — concert (honoring families, performance of professional artists and groups, bloggers);
- 19.40-21.00 — work of interactive platforms;
