On June 26-27, 2024, the V All-Russian Theophanous Theological and Pedagogical Conference (with foreign participation) was held at the Tambov Theological Seminary in a mixed format
.
The conference was devoted to:
- 1375th anniversary of the repose of St. John the Venerable;
- 300th anniversary of the birth of St. Tikhon of Zadonsk;
- 270th anniversary of the birth of St. Seraphim of Sarov;
- 130th anniversary of the repose of St. Theophanes, the Hermit of Vyshensk;
- 100th anniversary of the birth of St. Paisiy Svyatogorts;
- 95th anniversary of the repose of the holy martyr Hilarion, Archbishop of Vereisk;
- 35th anniversary of the glorification of St. Tikhon, Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia;
- 15th anniversary of the enthronement of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia;
- The Year of the Family in the Russian Federation;
The speakers focused on the preservation of spiritual traditions, current problems of Orthodox pedagogy and anthropology, sociology, history and theory of church art, liturgics, missionary and spiritual-educational activities of the Russian Orthodox Church.

On June 26, before the opening of the conference, in the Church of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God of the Kazan Monastery of the Kazan Monastery in Tambov, the following ceremony was celebrated The prayer service was led by the Rector of the Tambov Theological Seminary, Doctor of Theology, Candidate of Theology, Metropolitan Theodosius of Tambov and Rasskazovo. Participants and guests of the conference, faculty and students of the seminary prayed at the service.

The conference began with a plenary session in the assembly hall of the Tambov Theological Seminary, which was opened by Metropolitan Theodosius. In his welcoming speech he noted the priority directions of the scientific forum and wished all the participants useful scientific communication.
The event was attended by clerics of the Tambov Diocese, administration, faculty, staff and students of the Tambov Theological Seminary, faculty and students of the Kazan Theological Seminary, heads of municipal centers of spiritual and moral education of the Tambov region, directors and teachers of Sunday schools of parishes of the Tambov Diocese, students of higher educational institutions of the Tambov region, staff of the Center for the Support of Spiritual and Moral Education of the Tambov Diocese, students of higher educational institutions of the Tambov region, staff of the Center for the Support of Spiritual and Moral Education of the Tambov Diocese.
