On June 11, the work of the Supreme Spiritual Council began in Holy Etchmiadzin under the chairmanship of the Second Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin.
The meeting began with the Lord's Prayer, after which His Holiness the Patriarch, offering his gratitude and blessing to the clergy and laity of the Supreme Spiritual Council, asked for the grace and guidance of the Holy Spirit for the next session of the Council.
During the meeting the issues related to external threats and internal political events facing the Motherland, the rededication of the Mother Cathedral and the organization of Holy Mass, ecclesiastical and ideological issues will be discussed.
Various ecclesiastical, diocesan, educational issues are also on the agenda.
