The bell of the Church of the Ascension in Belgrade solemnly announced the arrival of the holy relics of the great God-pleaser of the Serbian family and one of the greatest Orthodox theologians of our time, St. Justin of Celia.
Today the great relic was sent with the blessing of His Eminence Bishop of Valjevo, Msgr. Isychius from the monastery of Celie, where St. Hegumen Justin spent three decades practically under house arrest under the watchful eye of the godless communist government and its secret police. And here is boundless joy and God's blessing! St. Abba Justin has returned to his Belgrade home and what until recently was unimaginable, with an honorable escort of Christ-loving soldiers, elite members of the Serbian Army!
In the fact that the joy of the residents of the capital is multiplied, the merit of His Eminence Metropolitan of New York and Eastern America of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia, Mr. Vladimirovich. He has brought to the Serbian people for blessing and prayerful strengthening the miraculous icon of the Blessed Virgin Mary Znamenje, which will be carried tomorrow, on the Day of the Savior, in a slave procession together with the relics of St. Justin of Celia.

A solemn festive vigil followed, with the prayerful participation of Russian foreign and Serbian bishops and numerous faithful, including the Minister for Family and Demography, Mrs. Milica Đurđević Stamenkovska and the Secretary of State, Mrs. Sanja Lakic, which threw the capital into a festive revelry, on the occasion of the celebration of its baptismal glory, Ascension - the Day of Salvation.
