January 26, 2024 in the Picture Gallery of Sayansk in the framework of events dedicated to the Year of the Family, the opening of the exhibition "Nicholas II. Family. Tsar's Service".
The exposition placed in the gallery consists of photographs reflecting the life and activities of the last Russian Emperor and members of his family. The photos are provided by the Sretensky Monastery in Moscow and are part of the project, which has been successfully realized for several years in many cities of Russia and abroad.
Priest Vladimir Danilko, Head of the Diocesan Department of Religious Education, delivered the opening address.
Svetlana Panina, an art historian, told about Christian virtues and relations in the family of Nicholas II. Many young people attended the opening of the exhibition.
The exposition itself will be in the Picture Gallery until March 2. Excursions for schoolchildren are available on the Pushkin card.
