The Humanitarian Center of the diocese gave out about 150 kg of food, 100 kg of household chemicals, 20 beds, complete with mattresses, blankets, pillows, bed linens for the day. In the Transfiguration Church of Orsk, located on the mountain, 10 victims are still staying.

On April 16, employees of the humanitarian aid center of the Kurgan diocese went to the TAC at the Ostrovsky country camp. They took them baked goods donated by a benefactor who wished to remain anonymous. There are about 100 people in the TAC, many elderly people who need supervision. It was agreed that five sisterhoods will send two or three sisters to be on duty in the TAC. Also today the diocesan center for humanitarian aid in Kurgan was approached by two families whose houses were flooded. They stayed with relatives, the humanitarian center gave them everything they needed. In Shadrinsk diocese the water is coming down, people are returning to their homes. Humanitarian aid in the diocese is being distributed to TACs.
In Pavlodar diocese in the village of Shcherbakty the water came up to several houses. The residents asked the rector of the local church, priest Vyacheslav Fomenko, to perform a prayer service. After the prayer service the water went away.
Today the peak of floods in Kostanay region has passed. With the blessing of Metropolitan of Astana and Kazakhstan Alexander in all temples of Kostanay diocese prayers are offered for health, strengthening of spiritual and bodily forces of people affected by floods. Clergymen and volunteers of the diocese provided and are providing assistance during the floods and elimination of their consequences, as well as assistance for TACs. The diocese is collecting food packages and financial aid for the victims. The clergy paid special attention to the shelter for pets: they purchased food, diapers, household chemicals and bottled water.
The flood in Aktobe region caused great damage to the residents. According to official information, more than 8000 people were affected, there were no casualties. Two dams in the region burst. The central district of Aktobe city and several nearby villages were flooded. The diocesan office was flooded, the Sunday school, assembly hall, gymnasium, rizna were affected. At the moment the situation in the region has already normalized, most people have returned to their homes. The level of the Ilek and Kargaly rivers fell very much, these are the two main rivers that were coming out strongly out of its banks. Currently, the water is receding. The situation is stabilizing, but there are many victims. The Aktobe diocese has been and is providing assistance to the victims with food packages and cooperating with volunteers. On April 17, the head of the social department of the diocese plans to hand over to the victims about 20-30 more food packages, which were collected by the whole diocese.
With the blessing of Bishop of Uralsk and Atyrau Vianor, food packages, clothes and personal hygiene products were collected in the Pokrovsky Nunnery in Uralsk to help the victims. The aid comes to the monastery from all churches of Uralsk, is sorted and then sent to evacuation points. The aid continues to arrive, as it accumulates it will be distributed.
In Petropavlovsk-Bulayevsky diocese during two weeks believers took an active part in building earth fortifications along the Ishim river bed. In Petropavlovsk they accommodated 37 evacuees in the Humanitarian-Technical College, which belongs to the diocese. All of them have been provided with food, water and basic necessities since April 12. 17 students of the Humanitarian-Technical College of Petropavlovsk and the high school in honor of St. Sergius of Radonezh, whose homes were damaged in the flood, were provided with hot meals at the expense of the diocese during the educational process. The diocese donated 35 pairs of children's shoes, clothes, necessities, and warm clothes to 20 victims. The victims also received 650 liters of drinking water, 157 loaves of bread, groceries, personal hygiene products. At the Ascension Cathedral of Petropavlovsk in cooperation with the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Kazakhstan organized and deployed a center for the distribution of humanitarian aid among the affected population. Believers of the diocese take part in unloading and sorting of trucks with humanitarian aid sent from other regions of Kazakhstan. In addition, the clergy of the diocese spiritually support the flood victims.
In the Synodal Department for Church Charity and Social Ministry on the church platform "Let's Help" on the website mirom.help opened a fundraiser for people in Orsk and in all settlements affected by the flood.
