On November 24, 2024, in the Week of the 22nd Pentecost, the day of the memory of St. Theodore the Studite, the Novodevichy Stavropegial Nunnery in Moscow held a celebration in honor of the 30th anniversary of the restoration of monastic life in the monastery. The resolution on the restoration of monastic life was adopted by the Holy Synod on November 24, 1994.
With the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia, the Divine Liturgy in the Amvrosievsky Church of the monastery was led by the Vicar of the Ekaterininsky Stavropigial Monastery Bishop Tikhon of Vidnov.
