Malyagin, laureate of the Patriarchal Literature Prize named after Equal-to-the-Apostles Cyril and Methodius; Priest Zachary Saveliev, leading specialist in cooperation with dioceses, head of the project «Word Space» and I.A. Junzhurova, an employee of the Publishing Council.

On November 18, members of the delegation visited the fundamental library of the Russian State Pedagogical University named after A.I. Herzen, donated to the library the jubilee album of the Patriarchal Literary Award named after Equal Apostles Cyril and Methodius and held a working meeting on the issues of interaction and assistance in the acquisition of the library by the Publishing Council. Agreements were reached on the provision of consultative assistance from the Publishing Council to the library staff working with the fund of Orthodox literature. Director of the Fundamental Library N.N. Kvelidze-Kuznetsova expressed her gratitude for the gift to the library from the Publishing Council.

On November 19, Priest Zachary Saveliev took part in the Theology Council of the St. Petersburg Diocese and spoke about the recently launched jointly by the Russian Academy of Education (RAO) and the Publishing Council meaningful reading contest «Reasonable, Good, Eternal» and about the experience of creating and holding the youth festival of book culture «Word Space» held on July 27 in the art park «Museon» (Moscow). Having listened to the introductory report, Metropolitan of St. Petersburg and Ladoga Varsonofii proposed to hold a similar festival in St. Petersburg and to coincide this event with the Day of Slavonic Script and Culture.

On the same day the presentation of the facsimile edition of «Dostoevsky's Gospel» was held in the walls of the Resurrection Smolny Cathedral. A lecture on the life and works of Dostoevsky during his time on penal servitude in Tobolsk was delivered by priest Zachary Savelyev. The event was attended by Archpriest Peter Mukhin, dean for work with universities, as well as clerics, parishioners and youth activists of the Resurrection Smolny Cathedral.

In the evening of the same day there was a meeting with undergraduate students of St. Petersburg Theological Academy. Fr. Zacharias gave a presentation on a number of educational activities that are being implemented by the St. Petersburg Theological Academy.
