On May 7, 2024, in the church's Central Clinical Hospital of St. Alexis, Metropolitan of Moscow, an exhibition of the Academy of Watercolor and Fine Arts of Sergei Andriyaki «The Andriyaki Sisters. Rector of the Academy of Watercolor and Fine Arts Sergei Andriyaka has been adhering to the classical traditions of Russian fine arts in his work for many years. He revived the academic school of watercolor painting and brought up several generations of masters.
The artist's three daughters — Elizabeth, Sophia and Maria — followed in his footsteps and continue the traditions of classical fine art. The eldest daughter Elizabeth even during her studies began to teach children. Currently, she works with students at the Academy of Watercolor and Fine Arts, is a member of the Russian Union of Artists and is active in creative work. In the fall of 2022, with the support of St. Alexis Hospital, she evisited Mariupol and Melitopol, where she conducted master classes for adults and children. Sofia and Maria are in their last years of study at the Academy and teach the younger classes of the pre-professional department of the Academy. The young artists work in the technique of layered watercolor. Their work represents a variety of genres of painting — from still life to portraiture.
In The expositions in the Consultation and Diagnostic Department of St. Alexis Hospital change several times a year. The tradition was established in 2021, when an exhibition of paintings by Larisa Kosenkova, great-granddaughter of the first chief physician and director of the hospital Stepan Popov, a member of the Union of Artists of Russia, took place. The exhibition of the Academy of Watercolor and Fine Arts is held at St. Alexis Hospital for the second time. Before that in December 2021 exhibited watercolors by Sergei Andriyaki and his students «Christmas Etudes».
