On June 20, 2024, the Financial and Economic Department of the Moscow Patriarchate Moscow hosted a meeting on the preservation and restoration of cultural heritage objects of the Smolensk Eparchy.
A working meeting was held in the Financial and Economic Department of the Moscow Patriarchate.
The working meeting was attended by Metropolitan Nikandr of Naro-Fominsk, Metropolitan Isidor of Smolensk and Dorogobuzh, A.A. Dubrovsky, the guardian of the Smolensk diocese, and A.N. Pakhomov, the general director of the Interregional Scientific Restoration Art Department.
In the framework of the agenda the participants of the meeting considered the progress of restoration work on the Assumption Cathedral and buildings of the Sobornaya Hill.
