On November 26, 2024, the presentation of the «Heart of Belarus» website with an interactive map of social projects of the Belarusian Orthodox Church, which was developed on the initiative of the Synodal Department for Church Charity and Social Service of the Belarusian Orthodox Church by the private company «Inter Tech Solution», took place in Minsk.
The presentation was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Belarus, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus, the Belarusian Red Cross, chief doctors of health care institutions, employees of social protection institutions of Minsk and Minsk region.
«The project "Heart of Belarus" was created to give everyone an opportunity to find out what social initiatives are being implemented in their area and get the necessary help or support. The interactive map automatically determines the location of a person and, accordingly, offers him/her projects in the vicinity. A person can see a description of the project, see how to get to its location or who to contact to join in» — explained the chairman of the Synodal Department for Priest Roman Artemov of the Belarusian Orthodox Church and added that the most urgent today are humanitarian projects related to work with children and the disabled.
In addition to the projects of the Belarusian Orthodox Church, the map reflects projects that are also carried out in cooperation with the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, the Ministry of Health of Belarus, the Belarusian Red Cross.
