In connection with the upcoming feast of the Zaleshanska Icon of the Mother of God and the Day of Commemoration of the Podlasie Martyrs, which this year falls on Saturday, July 27, the sisters from the Monastery of St. Great Martyr Catherine of Zaleshanska invite you to celebrate the feast.
The nuns are responsible for the construction of the main church of the monastery. St. Catherine and the Martyrs of Podlasie. Thanks to God's help and the support of benefactors over the past year we have been able to do the electrical installation, underfloor heating and poured flooring, plaster the interior walls of the church, install exterior doors and purchase a sound system.
The sisters have the next stage of finishing work to do: purchasing an iconostasis, which will cost 50,000.00 euros, making wooden ceilings, and laying a stone floor.
The nuns would like to thank all those who support the community with prayers and participate in the construction. While assuring daily prayer for all benefactors, the sisters ask for financial support for further work.
