On November 15, 2024, the Sergiev Posad Museum-Reserve presented a large-scale exhibition project «Through love and unity we will be saved» dedicated to St. Sergius of Radonezh, with the participation of collections from the largest museums in Russia.

The exhibition introduces not only the events of the earthly life of the founder of the Svyato-Trinity Sergius Lavra and the tradition of his centuries-long veneration, but also reveals the deep connection of times through the spiritual unity of the people, based on the precept of St. Sergius of Radonezh: «Through love and unity let us be saved!"

The grand opening of the exhibition was attended by: Director of the Department of Museums and Circus Art Support E. M. Kharlamova, Director General of the State Historical Museum A. K. Levykin, First Deputy Director of the Sergiev Posad Museum-Reserve N. V. Grigorieva, Deputy Director of the Sergiev Posad Museum-Reserve N. V. Grigorieva.V. Grigorieva, Deputy Director General for Scientific Work of the Moscow Kremlin Museums A.L. Batalov, State Duma deputy S.A. Pakhomov, the head of Sergiev Posad City District O.V. Erokhanova and other honored guests.

The exhibition exhibits more than 200 museum objects, including famous works from the funds of the Sergiev Posad Museum-Reserve and more than 90 exhibits from collections Among them are paintings by M.V. Nesterov, V.M. Vasnetsov, S.D. Miloradovich, the banner of D.M. Pozharsky of the early 17th century, and unique icons. Most of the exhibits provided by the participants of the project are demonstrated for the first time in Sergiev Posad Museum-Reserve.

The exposition and exhibition project will continue its development: in March 2025 a re-exposition will be held on the basis of the collections of the Sergiev Posad Museum-Reserve and the involvement of new partners.
