On November 16, 2024, in Tashkent (Uzbekistan), the opening ceremony of the educational project of the Publishing Council of the Russian Orthodox Church — the exhibition-forum «Joy of the Word» took place.

The head of the Middle Asian Metropolitan District Metropolitan Vikenty of Tashkent and Uzbekistan addressed the audience with a welcoming speech. The bishop thanked the Publishing Council for organizing the exhibition-forum «Joy of the Word» in the Tashkent diocese for seven consecutive years and noted the special importance of holding the international educational project on the territory of Uzbekistan.
Chairman of the Publishing Council Metropolitan Kliment of Kaluga and Borovsk also addressed the guests and participants of the exhibition. Vladyka noted that the books presented at the exhibition can be divided by content into spiritual and moral and cultural-intellectual books, which develop in a person the main components of creative talents — love and kindness. Metropolitan Kliment urged everyone to read paper books, as reading such books promotes the development of intellectual and analytical way of thinking.
After the welcoming words, the bishops visited the book exposition located in the foyer of the Tashkent diocese administration building.
The grand opening was attended by Patriarchal Literature Prize laureate V.F. Kiryushin and Russian philologist and Russian philologist, doctor of sciences V.I. Annushkin.

In the framework of the exhibition-forum «Joy of the Word» at the grand opening of the event there was a presentation of new books Publishers of the Moscow Patriarchate. The event was conducted by Metropolitan Kliment.
In the framework of the presentation were presented new volumes of the collection of works of the Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church, as well as books: «You are God, working miracles»; «Choose life, that you and your posterity may live. On the Challenges of Time and The Right Choice»; «Life-Sized Happiness»; «Let's Start with the Most Simple: Keys to Happiness»; «To Not Perish Neither in This World Nor in the Future: On Repentance and Saving Forgiveness»; «Why Did You Leave the World? The High Priest on the purpose of monastic life» from the series «Monastic Library»
At the end, the Chairman of the Publishing Council handed over the works of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill, as well as a set of Orthodox literature to the library of the Tashkent Theological Seminary.
