The Primate of the Bulgarian Church warmly welcomed the guests, expressing his joy at the arrival of the representatives of the Russian Orthodox Church in Bulgaria during the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the consecration of the Alexander Nevsky Patriarchal Cathedral in Sofia.
Metropolitan Anthony, in turn, warmly thanked His Holiness for the invitation and the opportunity to take part in the feast, noting that this visit is another vivid testimony of the unity between the Bulgarian and Russian Churches, and conveyed greetings from His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia.
