In nomine Patris et Filii et Spiritus Sancti. Amen.
"Let us bless and glorify Your holy and marvelous and triumphant resurrection" (The Chapel).
Dear devout believers,
Today the news of the marvelous Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ resounds from the holy tabernacles of our temples. The glad tidings of Skancelahorhurd fills our hearts, embittered by the pain and loss of homeland and national life, with hope and soul-restoring feelings. Life won, death lost and sunk. With faith and trust in God, let us praise the Lord together with timely words. "We bless and glorify Your Holy and Wonderful and Triumphant Resurrection."
By His Resurrection, Christ freed mankind from the power of evil, showed the way of forgiveness and love, established reconciliation between man and God, and offered the hope and grace of eternal life. By the grace of God, the dawn of life spread over the darkness of death. The life-giving cross, on which the Holy Blood of the Lord was shed, became a sign of victory over death, faith in the Resurrection, heavenly power that conquers evil.
Yes, beloved, the victor is the holy and marvelous Resurrection of Christ. In the ever-changing events of the world, and especially in difficult and trying situations, believers are strengthened by the grace of the Resurrection to rise from the trials, to reject destructive phenomena and destructive thoughts and actions, to overcome the scourges of catastrophic wars, to be renewed by the Lord, as Scripture testifies. "Whoever is in Christ is a new creature" (2 Cor. 5:17).
Even today there is a call to be guided by God's commandments, to denounce death, to create the victory of life, to be a noble defender of truth and justice, and to replace a dead existence without God with a life created by the Lord. . heeding this call, united by the sacred covenant, "Believer, Be Native," we have faced many difficulties and trials in history. Today, the proof of faith in the resurrection is also the declaration of our people's faith and loyalty to the sacred national values, which for centuries have been the guarantee of the identity and existence of the Armenian nation, the development of education and science. It is necessary to educate the generations with these values and preserve the contributions and heritage of our ancestors, who enriched the scientific and cultural treasury of the mankind, intact and without losses.
Dear pious children in Armenia and in the Diaspora, the Holy and Miraculous Resurrection of the Lord is an encouraging hope for all of us that we will be able to face the challenges facing our country with hope and courage, especially in this difficult post-war period when Artsakh occupied and depopulated, and Azerbaijan's expansionist and provocative actions are not limited to demands that pose direct threats to the security of our State. Criminal manifestations continue with the humiliation of the hostage-taking political leadership of Artsakh and our children illegally held captive, as well as a blatant policy of disregard for the rights of Artsakh Armenians, usurpation and destruction of the Armenian spiritual and cultural heritage in Artsakh. In order to fight back against these reprehensible realities, it is the duty of our people to overcome internal divisions and disunity, to heal the wounds of our nation, which has suffered heavy losses, and to unite forces and strengthen the Motherland.
Indeed, the resurrected life begins with the determination to live according to the teachings of Christ, with the first step from disasters and sufferings to life-renewing accomplishments. We must keep this consciousness, this spirit indomitable in us, not succumb to the trials that torment us, not act defeatist and not turn into a dejected and weak nation jeopardizing the future and independent statehood of our homeland. Our process does not end at the sites of martyrdom of our martyrs and brave men, nor at the graves left in Artsakh. The grave dug for us by the evil one will always remain empty, because we are a nation, overcoming tribulation with Christ and rising from every Calvary with faith in the resurrection.
Indeed, the judgment of our future is not darkness and death, but life and resurrection. Not only the individual, but also the nation and the state can rise before God with firm faith, indomitable will and spirit. In the current challenging circumstances for our nation, it is vital and necessary to strengthen our country, it is vital to live and act with unconditional patriotism and devotion to the nation. Through this firm process we will be able to build new horizons in our history and awaken our worthy state, national and church life. Thus, the apostle's call must become a reality for our nation as well. 'Where is your victory, death? Where is thy sting, the grave?" '(1 Cor. 15:55). So, let us keep faith, hope and love in our hearts for the risen Christ, as well as a good expectation of the future. God calls us to the resurrection, so let us cast off fear and despair, let us remove hatred and enmity, Pilatesian and Jewish practices, let us fix our eyes on the risen Savior, and let us walk only in the victorious way of the resurrection.
With this wish and the good news of the Holy Resurrection, we greet the Thrones of the Endowed Cathedrals of our Holy Church, H.S.O.O.T.T. Aram I to the Catholicos of the Great House of Cilicia, to the Armenian Patriarch of Jerusalem His Holiness Fr. Archbishop Nurhan Manoukian, the Armenian Patriarch of Constantinople to His Holiness Fr. Archbishop Sahak Mashalian, the spiritual fathers of the sister Churches ask for the support of Almighty God in the realization of their mission. Patriarchal We send our love and blessing to all the clergy of our Holy Church and to all the faithful of Our Nation in our homeland and abroad.
Beloved, on this bright day of the Holy and Miraculous Resurrection, let us offer our prayers from our hearts to Almighty God to grant peace and prosperity to the world, to maintain the protection of His most Holy Right over our Motherland and to bless and illuminate my Armenian nation with heavenly graces to live a safe and secure life and to glorify the Most Holy Trinity now and always and forever. each
