This is stated in the circular letter of Metropolitan Grigory of Voskresensk, First Vicar of the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia, sent to the bishops in charge of Moscow's vicariates, and to Metropolitan Theognost of Kashir, chairman of the Synodal Department for Monasteries and Monasticism.

The document, in particular, states:

"Every day in the Church headquarters for assistance to refugees in Moscow, organized by the Synodal Department for Monasteries and Monasticism. charity, up to 100 people apply. These are migrants from various regions, including the affected areas of Kursk and Belgorod regions. They are in need of the most necessary things.

With the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia, a permanent collection of food, hygiene products and new bedding for the victims should be organized in parishes, patriarchal suburbs and stavropegial monasteries of the Moscow diocese.

In particular, are required:

- sunflower oil, canned fish and meat, cereals, sugar, flour, baby food;

- shampoos, shower gels, soap, laundry detergent, baby diapers, toothpaste;

- blankets, pillows, new bedding.

The collection of help should be announced on August 11, 18, 19, 25 and 28 this year at the end of the Divine Liturgy.

In the future such collections should be held monthly. The end of the collection will be notified additionally.

In addition to the announcement of the collection of aid, the circular letter states that a leaflet about the collection of humanitarian aid for refugees should be placed on information stands, websites and social networks of churches and monasteries.
