His Holiness the Serbian Patriarch Mr. On April 14, 2024, the Middle Week of Lent, Porfirje served the Most Holy Hierarchal Liturgy at the Church of St. Luke the Apostle and Evangelist in Krnjača.
- Through fasting and prayer we show and declare that we want to be what we should be, that we want to be what God intended us to be and what He created us for. This is the space of the manifestation of God's grace, the space of God's presence. It means that we want to be a table of honor and an altar on which Christ Himself is present, on which the Lord Himself is present," Patriarch Porphyrios said.
His Holiness was served by Archpriest Rade Simić, Priest Aleksandar Rajak, Archdeacons Dragan Radić and Radomir Vručić and Deacon Sinisa Glišić. During the liturgy, Patriarch Porfirije awarded the Elder of the Church of St. Luke the Apostle, Archpriest Rado Simić, the right to wear the pectoral cross, which honored him with the title of archpriest-stavrophor.
