His Holiness Patriarch Porfiry of Serbia served 2. June 2024 on Sunday in Samaritan - Holy Archdiocesan Liturgy in the Church of St. Mark the Apostle and Evangelist on Tashmaidan.
- There is no one who is lost forever if he seeks Christ, if he seeks living water. Sooner or later the Lord will appear to him. There is nothing to whom he has not appeared, it is only important that our thirst and our hunger for him be true and sincere, and at the same time be prepared that when he appears to us, having adopted him, we will live according to his laws, - emphasized Patriarch Porphyrios, whose sermon you can read in full here.
His Holiness was served by Archimadrite Nektarije, Chief Secretary of the Holy Synod of Bishops and Elder of the Church of St. Mark the Apostle; Archimandrite Vasilije, Minister of the Holy Synod of Bishops; Proteire Stavrofor Jovan Milanovic, Rector of the Karlovac Seminary; Archpriest George Stojsavljevic, Head of the Office of the Patriarch of Srpska; and numerous clergy of the Archbishop of Belgrade-Karlovac.
At the end of the Holy Liturgy, His Holiness Patriarch Porfirije of Serbia baptized the children of Priest Vladimir Pekic and Deacon Nikola Gacic.
