Easter Joy on the Day of St. Gora Javor

Пасхальная радость в день св. Гора Явор
CHRIST IS RISEN! TRULY RISEN! This Easter greeting, which contains the essence of all our faith, filled Holy Mount Javor and our hearts, faithful to Holy Orthodoxy.

On the third day of Easter, Archbishop Paisius, with the assistance of the clergy of the Krynica and Gorlice boroughs, celebrated the Easter liturgy in the church of St. Javor Mountain, and then the area for the construction of the Orthodox church was consecrated. The choir of the parishes of Hanchova and Vysova sang.

At the end, Archbishop Paisii addressed the many faithful gathered "under the dome of heaven" on the day of St. Gora. Lord thanks for their participation in the St. Liturgy and this special event in our history - the consecration of the area for the construction of the temple, for love, zeal, wisdom and reason, and steadfastness in faith. To the choir for singing, to the clergy for their presence and dedicated service to Orthodoxy.

"Today we witnessed an Easter miracle - the consecration of the area for the construction of the Orthodox church... The moment when we would receive all the permits, we had to wait for more than 8 years, 4 years we were not given answers to our letters, and later required various expert opinions. We humbly accepted everything and waited..... We thank the architect Peter Krynicki and his family for their work on the project... God wanted this church in Jawor to become a monument to the 100th anniversary of our autocephaly and the 100th anniversary of the apparition of the Mother of God on this holy site. It will be a monument to the faith of our ancestors, those who gave their lives for Orthodoxy, were exiled to Talerhof, Jaworzno, thrown out of their native land in the "Vistula Action".... This will be a monument to the faith of Late. Archbishop Adam and Hegumen Moses, who loved this holy place ... It will be an eternal memory of us who come here with Christian humility and love to offer prayers for the whole world and for those who, listening to the advice of the hater of the human race, today do not know themselves what they are doing... This is what will happen... In a few days we will begin the work of consecrating the cornerstone on the Feast of the Apostles Peter and Paul and placing it in the foundation of the new temple.... Glory to God for everything, for sorrows and joys...' - he emphasized in his word the ruler.

After the Holy During the liturgy, the faithful, together with His Excellency and the clergy, according to the long-standing tradition established by Archbishop Paisios, enjoyed the Paschal meal together.

As we descended from the Holy Mountain, we felt like the Holy Myrrh-bearing Wives - in our hearts after this beautiful Easter celebration the words "Let us rejoice, He is risen, and we will be risen!"
