On January 28, 2024, His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II consecrated St. Mary's Church in Mysore.


His Holiness was assisted at the time of the consecration by the following Eminence Archbishops: Mr. Gregorius Joseph, Metropolitan Trustee and Metropolitan of the Archdiocese of Cochin, Mr. Eustathius Isaac, Metropolitan of Bangalore, Mr. Christopher Marcose Abraham, Patriarchal Secretary for the Church. in India.
