Kursk, January 11, 2025
During the holy days of the celebration of the Nativity of Christ, Metropolitan German of Kursk and Rylsk visited wounded servicemen undergoing treatment in a Kursk hospital.

Vladyka congratulated the fighters on Christmas, wishing everyone fortitude and a speedy recovery. The Archpastor found an opportunity to talk to literally everyone, and for each wounded he found the most appropriate words. Very quickly, a somewhat formal beginning was replaced by trusting communication with smiles and kind emotions.
"All of Russia has risen to defend the Kursk land," - said the Vladyka after two hours of communication with servicemen from Smolensk, Kazan, Magadan, Chelyabinsk, Moscow, Birobidzhan and other cities of our country. Realization of this clearly added vigor to the spirit of both patients and medical staff of the hospital, reports the website of the diocese.
The soldiers undergoing treatment received sweet gifts from the hands of the archpastor.
