On December 21, H.H. Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, met at the 'Garegin A' Educational Center with clergymen who have undergone regular three-week training courses coming from different dioceses of Armenia and the Diaspora.
Summarizing the results of the year, Bishop Hovhannisyan of Vahan noted the effectiveness of the courses. His Holiness was informed by His Holiness that 68 clergymen have participated in the courses so far.
On behalf of the clergy participating in the training courses, the Patriarch of All Armenians was greeted by the spiritual pastor of the Holy Resurrection Church of the Armenian Diocese of Sydney, Australia and New Zealand.
Father expressed his gratitude to the Armenian pastor for organizing the courses, assuring that after renewing the covenant with Holy Etchmiadzin, they will return to their pastoral ministry with new knowledge and spiritual enthusiasm.
His Holiness, blessing the clergymen, stressed the importance of the training courses organized in the Mother See for increasing the effectiveness of their spiritual ministry. His Eminence noted that today the Armenian nation is facing many challenges, and in order to overcome them the clergy should carry out their service to the nation, Motherland and Church with high consciousness and unconditional devotion.
The Armenian Patriarch also called on the clergy to carry out a caring mission towards the depatriated citizens of Artsakh and make every effort to support them.
