Catholicos of All Armenians received church-loving Armenians

On March 1, H.E. Karekin, the Second Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, received in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin a group of church-loving Armenians representing various spheres of public life.

Presenting the members of the group, Tiar Ara Zohrabyan, member of the Legal Advisory Committee of the Mother See, Rector of the Academy of Advocates of the Republic of Armenia, informed His Holiness that the group of church-loving believers includes people who are recognized and respected in different spheres, who are united by spiritual and moral values, loyalty to Mother Church.

His Holiness Patriarch, conveying his fatherly blessing to the Armenians, highly appreciated their patriotic and church-loving spirit, zeal for the holy Christian faith and national values.


His Eminence reaffirmed that the Church, despite all possible obstacles and difficulties, will continue to steadfastly carry out its soul-saving and national-protecting mission in the life of the Armenian people and make efforts to preserve the moral and national system of values.


At the meeting His Holiness also touched upon the support programs provided by the Mother See to the Armenians of Artsakh.


During the conversation, the problems facing Armenia and the Armenian people, as well as the more effective mission of the Armenian Church were discussed.
