On March 7, H.H. Karekin, the Second Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, received in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin the members of the 'Etchmiadzin' faction of the Council of Elders of the Vagharshapat community headed by Sevak Khachatryan.
Requesting the blessing of His Holiness, the members of the faction expressed their filial loyalty and support to the Mother Church and the mission of Holy Etchmiadzin.
His Holiness, conveying His Fatherly blessing to the members of the Council of Elders, emphasized all the initiatives of the latter, which are aimed at ensuring the normal functioning of the Vagharshapat community and solving the existing problems.
The Armenian Bishop also spoke with satisfaction about the faction's zealous attitude towards the Mother Church and spiritual and national values.
During the talk, the problems facing Armenia and the Armenian people, as well as the problems of increasing the effectiveness of the Armenian Church's mission were touched upon.
