On June 11, 2024, the first day of his stay in this country, Metropolitan Nicholas of Eastern America and New York visited the Church of St. Sava in Belgrade and worshipped its shrines. There he also met and had a brief conversation with Metropolitan John of Belgorod and Starooskol.

On June 12, when the feast of Holy Pascha was celebrated, Metropolitan Nicholas of Eastern America and New York led the Divine Liturgy at the Holy Trinity Church of the Russian Orthodox Church. He was served by Metropolitan Mark of Berlin and Germany; Bishop Hilarion of Novobrda, Vicar of the Patriarch of Serbia; Archpriest Vitaly Tarasiev, rector of the monastery of Vysokie Dečany; Archpriest Vitaly Tarasiev, rector of the Podvorye, representative of the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia to the Patriarch of Serbia; and the clergy of the two Churches. In the altar prayed and received the Holy Communion of Christ, Archbishop Gabriel of Montreal and Canada and Bishop Job of Stuttgart.

Those gathered for the service had the opportunity to venerate the Kursk-Root Icon of the Mother of God.

At the end of the Liturgy, Archpriest Vitaly Tarasiev, the rector of the church, welcomed the First Hierarch of the Russian Church Abroad to the church whose walls remember his predecessors, Metropolitan Anthony (Khrapovitsky) and Metropolitan Anastasius (Gribanovsky).
