A.D. Viktorov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the State of Israel, gave a welcoming speech at the beginning of the gala evening. From the Government of Israel congratulatory speech was made by the Minister of Agriculture Avi Dichter.
Among the guests of honor at the reception were: The Beatitude Patriarch Theophilus III of the Holy City of Jerusalem and All Palestine with the clergy of the Jerusalem Orthodox Church, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Israel E. S. Vorobyov, Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to Israel.S. Vorobyev, ambassadors and representatives of the diplomatic corps of Georgia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, clergy and monastics of the Russian Orthodox Church Abroad, representatives of Israeli political and business circles and the local community.
