In the small church of St. Sava on Vračar, in front of the burial place of his famous predecessor on the throne of St. Sava, His Holiness Patriarch Mr. Porfirje of Serbia celebrated the funeral service for Patriarch Barnabas (Rosic) on the occasion of the anniversary of his blissful sleep.
At the wake, in addition to many of the faithful, His Eminence Metropolitan Milesevski was present. Athanasius and His Eminence Vicar Bishop of Liplanski Mr. Come on. Contributing were Archpriest-Stavrophor Radivoj Panic, rector of St. Sava Church; Archpriest Djordje Stojisavljevic, head of the Serbian Patriarch's Cabinet; and Deacon Nikola Kostic.
