The device is designed to help anyone who comes to get information about fasting and holidays, the history of the cathedral and the Russian Orthodox Church, revered icons and other shrines, the basics of the Orthodox faith and prayers for various occasions. In the future, it is planned to install similar devices in other Orthodox prayer houses in Vyborg. They will also be made with funds from a grant from the Regional Committee for Culture. Such a measure, according to the city administration, will help preserve the historical, cultural and spiritual heritage of the region.
