On the green continent, the first temple in Australia will appear in the name of the great saint of the XIX-XX centuries - the righteous John of Kronstadt. According to 'Petersburg Diary', this was announced by the chairman of the charitable society named after St. John of Kronstadt in Melbourne, Archpriest Mikhail Protopopov.

In the northern capital, a jubilee meeting 'John's family - 10 years of work and prayer' was held, dedicated to the 190th anniversary of the birth of St. John of Krnonstadt. During this meeting, a priest from Australia shared with like-minded people his plans to perpetuate the memory of the great Russian saint by building a temple in his honor in the traditions of Russian wooden architecture.
