In the capital of Russia on the Great Annunciation in the Orchestrion Concert Hall at st. Garibaldi, 11 at 17 o'clock, a musical performance will take place on the theme of the miraculous visit of the Archangel Gabriel to the Most Holy Theotokos and the announcement to Her that She will become the Mother of the Lord Jesus Christ. A grandiose mystery, accompanied by a slide show and designed for the widest age audience, will combine the performance of hymns, psalms, praise songs - everything that was traditionally sounded on the Annunciation on the streets of medieval European cities. Samples of Russian spiritual folklore - a kind of 'Annunciation carols', which were widespread in our country in the past, will also be performed from the stage. In the folk tradition, it was with the Annunciation of the Most Holy Theotokos that the 'invocation of spring' by the choruses of girls began, which, according to one of the famous folklorists, sounded 'like a bird's noise.' It was from the Feast of the Annunciation that spring in nature day by day was felt more and more and on Holy Easter it fully came into its own. At the end of the grandiose musical festival, the ensemble 'Blagovest' will perform classical masterpieces on a spiritual theme: 'Ave Maria -' Virgin Mary, rejoice 'D. Caccini - V. Vavilov, F.
