A long procession in support of family values will take place in Crimea

В Крыму пройдет продолжительный крестный ход в поддержку семейных ценностей
For almost two months - from March 27 to May 19 - the prayer procession in defense of family values in the Crimean cities and villages will last. Participants of the procession, which will be held with the blessing of the ruling bishop, Metropolitan of Simferopol and Crimean Lazar, with the icon of the Mother of God 'Feodorovskaya' will leave Bakhchisarai, will visit Alushta. Alupka, Evpatoria and other settlements of the republic - and at the end they will return to the starting point of their journey. At Orthodox parishes along the way, all possible assistance will be rendered to the participants in the procession. The initiators of such a long - both in the duration of the route and in the travel time - were the All-Russian public movement in defense of children before birth and family values 'For life!' and the Simferopol and Crimean Diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church, celebrating this year the 700th anniversary of the acquisition of the Feodorovskaya Icon of the Mother of God. Passing through the cities, villages and settlements of Crimea, participants in the procession will remind residents and guests of the republic of the importance of human life at all its stages and of the role of traditional values in the life of society.
