From Mark . 10: 17-27
When He was going out on the road, someone ran up, fell on his knees before Him and asked Him: Good Teacher! what should I do to inherit eternal life?
Jesus said to him: why do you call me good? No one is good but God alone.
You know the commandments: do not commit adultery, do not kill, do not steal, do not bear false witness, do not offend, honor your father and mother.
He answered and said to Him: Teacher! I have kept all this from my youth.
Jesus, looking at him, loved him and said to him: one thing you lack: go, sell everything that you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me, taking up the cross.
But he, embarrassed by this word, walked away with sorrow, because he had a large property.
And, looking around, Jesus says to His disciples: how difficult it is for those who have riches to enter the Kingdom of God!
The disciples were horrified at His words. But Jesus again says to them in response: children! how difficult it is for those who hope for riches to enter the kingdom of God!
It is more convenient for a camel to pass through the ears of a needle than for a rich man to enter the Kingdom of God.
But they were extremely amazed and said among themselves: who then can be saved?
Jesus, looking at them, says: it is impossible for men, but not for God, for everything is possible for God.

Interpretation of a group of verses: Mark: 10: 26-30
Since there are few such rich people who would not be attached to their wealth, when they heard this, the disciples shuddered at the thought and involuntarily exclaimed: 'So who can be saved?'
Like all Jews, they were accustomed to looking at wealth as a special blessing of God and, moreover, secretly continued to cherish in themselves the thought of the earthly kingdom of the Messiah, in which they should have the best share.
If so, what will become of them? “Behold, Peter remarked, we left everything and followed you; what will happen to us? ' Then Christ, comforting them, revealed to them their glorious future. 'Truly, I say to you, He said that you, who followed Me, in observance, when the Son of man sits on the throne of His Glory, you will also sit on twelve thrones to judge the twelve tribes of Israel.'
