In connection with the anniversary of the Tomsk Metropolis - the fifth anniversary of its foundation - with the blessing of Patriarch Kirill, the Robe of the Most Holy Theotokos will be delivered to Tomsk from the Trinity-Sergius Lavra. The ark with the shrine will arrive at the Epiphany Cathedral at 6 pm on March 7. The access of believers to it will be open until March 16 inclusive, from morning to evening. Prayers with the reading of the akathist will be served daily at Riza. The official website of the Tomsk diocese reports the following about the Robe of the Mother of God and its significance for Orthodox Christians: “Through prayer in front of this shrine, many childless parents find the joy of fatherhood and motherhood, the sick receive strength to heal their ailments, the troubles and sorrows of personal life recede, protection from various manifestations is gained evil, the sorrows of the restless soul are satisfied. Contact with this shrine to many, suffering from various kinds of addictions, are taught the strength to overcome them. '
