The head of the Western Church apologized to the youth for all adults who are inattentive to the problems of concern to young men and women, and are not always able to hear them. According to RIA Novosti, such words were pronounced during the Sunday mass, which Pope Francis served in the Vatican. He reminded young people that their lives, their deeds and aspirations are of great value for God and the Church, because it is they who help humanity to develop and move forward. At the same time, Pope Francis spoke critically about those priests who offer young believers old labels and ready-made recipes for any situation in life. At the end of the Mass, the Epistle of the Synodal Fathers to the Young was read. The Synod's program document calls for youth to become a 'brighter future'; the enthusiasm of the young, it says in the 'Message', is needed both by the Church and the whole world. Sunday Mass at St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican took place at the end of the Ordinary General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops, which took place on October 3 and this time was entirely dedicated to youth. On October 27, the assembly adopted a final 127-point document.
