A venerated relic was brought to Kemero from Australia - an ark with particles of the relics of thirty-three saints. Today, August 14, on the day of the Annihilation of the venerable trees of the Life-giving Cross of the Lord, the ark will for the first time be opened for worship of believers in the church of St. Simeon of Verkhoturye.

The rector of St. Nicholas Cathedral, Archpriest Alexei Gurkin, received it as a gift from Archpriest Mikhail Protopopov, rector of the Orthodox Church of the Assumption of the Most Holy Theotokos in the city of Dandenonga and belonging to the Russian Orthodox Church Abroad.
Residents of the capital of Kuzbass and guests of the city of Kemerovo will be able to attach themselves to the relics every day, from seven in the morning to seven in the evening in the church of St. Simeon of Verkhotursky at the address: Tukhachevsky street, 17.
