At the church in the name of the Martyr Tatiana at the Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov, memorial plaques were installed. They immortalize the memory of 21 saints glorified by the Church, whose life is somehow connected with Moscow State University. This is reported by the youth Internet magazine 'Tatiana's Day' with reference to facebook of the rector of the church of the Martyr Tatiana, Archpriest Vladimir Vigilyansky.

To this day, the clerics and parishioners of the Church of the Martyr Tatiana have collected information about twenty new martyrs and confessors of Russia (two of them in episcopal dignity) who studied or taught at the Moscow State university and suffered during the years of godless persecution in the period from the late twenties to the early forties of the last century.
By now, thanks to the efforts of the clergy, parishioners and friends of the church, information has been collected about twenty saints who in different years studied or taught at Moscow University. Another name belongs to Saint Philaret (Drozdov), Metropolitan of Moscow and Kolomna, who since 1828 was listed as an honorary member of Moscow University, and in 1837 he performed the rite of consecration of the student Tatian Church here. In the name of Saint Philaret, her lower temple was consecrated.
