On July 14, the relics of Saints Peter and Fevronya will be brought from Murom to Moscow. From July 15 to July 21, from 8 am to 8 pm, the ark with the shrine will be available for worship at the Cathedral of Christ the Savior. The Primate of the Russian Church, Patriarch Kirill, will take part in the meeting of the relics, and then serve in the church. This was reported by the Moscow City News Agency. Saints Peter and Fevronia are revered as the heavenly patrons of marriage. Living at the turn of the twelfth and thirteenth centuries, they are considered the ideal of Orthodox marriage. In old age, both Peter and Fevronya accepted monasticism and bequeathed after death to bury them together. Since 2008, in Russia, the day of their memory is celebrated as a public holiday - the Day of Family, Love and Fidelity. The relics of the holy spouses are constantly in the Holy Trinity Monastery in the city of Murom.
