The traditional temperance procession took place in the town of Kstovo, Nizhny Novgorod region. The prayer procession is annually held at the initiative of the public organization 'Sobriety', the spiritual father of which is the rector of the Holy Kazan Church of the village of Great Enemy, Archpriest Alexander Nikolaev. Together with the believers in Kstov, the head of the city administration Mikhail Gogolev walked along the route of the procession. Representatives of various deaneries of Nizhny Novgorod also joined the route. Ahead of the procession, Orthodox supporters of sobriety carried the icon of the Mother of God 'The Inexhaustible Chalice', which is in the Mother of God Skete of the Annunciation Monastery. Three times the participants in the procession stopped, and representatives of the Orthodox clergy performed prayers. The total duration of the procession from the village of Velikiy Vrag, along the streets of Kstov and back, was seventeen kilometers.
