The myrrh-streaming icon of the Mother of God 'Child-Giver' will be brought to Krasnoyarsk

Мироточащую икону Божией Матери «Чадоподательница» привезут в Красноярск
One of the largest Orthodox exhibitions in the country - 'Orthodox Siberia', which will be held in Krasnoyarsk in June, will bring the Tikhvin Icon of the Mother of God, the 'Child Giver', oozing myrrh. The venerated copy of the icon remains in the Church of the Nativity of the Most Holy Theotokos in the village of Three Lakes in Tatarstan and is known not only for the flow of myrrh, but also for the fact that, through prayers in front of him, many families were able to have children. The list was created in the first half of the 18th century especially for the Triozersky rural church, where it stayed until its closure in godless times. The residents of the village took the holy image, like other icons from the closed church, home in order to keep it from desecration - but even then, the prayed icon, known for its miraculous power, attracted believers. “Through this image, the Lord gives the blessing for conception, successful birth and pious upbringing of children. Families who want, but do not have children for health reasons, falling down with prayer to the Mother of God through the image of Her Tikhvin, receive God's blessing, ”the organizers of the exhibition explain. Let us remind you that the exposition 'Orthodox Siberia' will operate from June 7 to 13 at the Krasnoyarsk MVDTs 'Siberia' at 19. Aviatorov street. Entrance to the exhibition is free.
