Russia and Israel have issued a postage stamp depicting the All Saints Cathedral of the Gornensky Convent , located in the Jerusalem district of Ein Karem. The release of the new brand is the new release of the architecture series.
The monastery, whose appearance in the Holy Land is associated with the name of the Russian missionary Archimandrite Antonin (Kapustin), is located not far from the very place where, soon after the Annunciation, the Most Holy Theotokos came to share with her relative the joy of the imminent birth of the Savior. The construction of the main church of the monastery began in 1911, but was soon suspended with the outbreak of the First World War - and was completed already in the 21st century. As the Russian Post clarifies, the stamp of the special cancellation of the first day can be delivered at the Russian Post office in Moscow at ul. Myasnitskaya, 26. Postage marks canceled on the day of their issue are of particular value to collectors.
